Iration is an alternative/reggae group originally formed in Isla Vista, CA. Their deep-rooted island influence and Hawaii upbringing fuses elements of rock, pop, and reggae – creating a smooth and uplifting sound, with a high-energy live show.  Now, after almost two decades creating music together, Iration has racked up more than 1 billion streams, topped Billboard charts, and established themselves as one of the most beloved reggae-rock bands to emerge from the SoCal scene.

This year, the band completed a coast-to-coast journey on the “Daytrippin in Paradise Summer Tour,” along with Pepper and special guests Denm and Artikal Sound System, performing over 40 dates in support of all things Daytrippin, their 8th studio album released last fall.

“Daytrippin is a return to our roots. We set out to strike a balance between polished studio production and the energy of a live show. We leaned on our reggae and rock influences to find a natural evolution from earlier albums like Time Bomb and Hotting Up,” says Iration lead vocalist, Micah Pueschel.

Iration has been touring nationally since 2008, performing at festivals nationwide from Lollapalooza to Sunfest and Hangout, closing stages at festivals like Bottlerock, Outside Lands, Reggae Rise Up, Cali Vibes Fest, and many more.  “Every night we create a little bit of paradise for the people that are coming to the show,” Micah Brown told editors at Billboard.

Iration’s first four albums reached No. 1 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart. Early fan-favorite songs "Time Bomb" and "Falling" formed the foundation of Iration’s signature sound, and reached RIAA Certified Gold Status in 2020. In the years’ since, the group’s catalog hit the airwaves of alternative rock radio stations nationwide, including the world-famous KROQ in Los Angeles, and earned the ear of critics at American Songwriter, The Noise, and All Music amongst many more.

In 2024, Iration dropped new single “Island Time,” a laid-back acoustic driven campfire sing-along,  as well as another pop-reggae tune called “Number 1” featuring Kolohe Kai; with a debut live performance together at the Honolulu Band shell. Iration has plans to and their next studio album in 2025. For more information, visit irationmusic.com.
